Today's show is only a duo, featuring Sandi and Wendy, but they usually perform in large groups of dancers, most of the time in improvisational style, yet because the dancers are so well versed in the art of technique, they are all perfectly syncipated and unified, and its one of the most electric, organic creations, all ingrained in the roots of bellydance, flamenco, Indian, gypsy, and other worldy dance styles.

Miss Kelly
formerlly of Urban Tribal, San Diego
Miss Kelly is one of the innovators of a branch of bellydance, which roots are from Fat Chance Bellydance, called tribal fusion. Miss Kelly was one of the principal dancers of one of the hippest bellydance companies in America today, Urban Tribal. Urban Tribal, directed by Heather Stantz, takes tribal style bellydance and infuses it with all kinds of dance forms, but most notably hip hop and modern. Miss Kelly has performed widely and is an inspiration for her beauty, charm and dazzling costumes each time. She is currently studying Women's Studies at San Francisco State University.
Erica Cipriani
Erica began her interest in bellydance as a teenager, and after many years of studying, spent 4 years in dance comapy Ultra Gypsy, directed by Jill Parker. Erica loves bellydance and is an excellent performer, choreographer and avid student of the art. Her style blends aspects of traditional, tribal, tribal fusion and cabaret styles, making her own unique style. Erica also was in Mystic Family Circus. She currently is a teacher in the San Francisco Public Schools, one of our local heros!

Summer is an avid performer of many sorts, including bellydance, fusion, modern, fire and more! Her style includes many facets, but she is a true lover of the art of bellydance, and continues its wonderful essence here in the Bay Area. Evil Eye Bellydance
EvilEye BellyDance, based in Berkeley, performs Tribal Style bellydance using synchronized group improvisation. This form is inspired by movement, music, and styling from India, North Africa, Spain and beyond. Their performances are not choreographed, but created right before you (evil) eyes.
